1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information depending on the App you use:

a) Information you provide directly

• Account Information: Username, email address, and password when you create an account (Votex app).
• Profile Information: Optional profile photo and biography.
• User-Generated Content: Polls, topics, items, votes, comments, and other content you create within the Votex app.
• Chat Data (Mesaj Dedektifi): WhatsApp chat export files (.txt) that you voluntarily upload for analysis. These files are processed solely for the purpose of generating your analysis report and are not stored permanently on our servers.

b) Information collected automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID), app version, language settings.
• Usage Data: Features used, screens viewed, actions taken, session duration, crash logs, and performance data.
• IP Address: Used to derive approximate (city-level) location. We do not collect precise GPS location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and improve the core functionality of our Apps.
• To create and manage your user account and authenticate your identity.
• To process and deliver chat analysis results (Mesaj Dedektifi).
• To personalize your experience, including content recommendations and trending topics.
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob.

3. Third-Party Services

Our Apps integrate the following third-party services, each of which operates under its own privacy policy:

4. Advertising

Our Apps display ads through Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may use advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve personalized ads based on your interests and activity. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Opt out of Ads Personalization.”
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track.”

Even after opting out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to your interests.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With your consent.
• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our Apps (e.g., hosting, analytics, ad serving) under strict confidentiality and data processing agreements.
• Legal Compliance: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental regulation.
• Safety & Protection: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Votex Studio, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal obligations.
• Chat analysis data (Mesaj Dedektifi) is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers after the analysis is complete. Locally cached analysis history on your device is stored in device storage and can be deleted at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
• Analytics & log data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form for up to 14 months.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
• Secure server environments with restricted access controls.
• Hashed and salted password storage (bcrypt).
• JWT-based authentication with token expiration.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to promptly notifying affected users in the event of a data breach.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or Turkish KVKK), you may have the following rights:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Data Portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Withdraw Consent — Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 10. International Data Transfers

Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country of residence. By using our Apps, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in countries that may have different data protection laws.
